Receiving Agent- Purchasing

Receiving Agents ensure that merchandise, freight, packages and mail are received, inspected, documented and delivered to the correct departments. This role requires accuracy, organization and responsible handling of inventory, invoices and secured receiving areas.
You will be employed by Sicon Revan and assigned to one of our client properties in Aruba. Sicon Revan manages your employment contract, payroll, confirmed benefits and placement support. The client’s name and complete assignment details will be shared with suitable candidates during the selection process.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and process deliveries according to invoices, purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Verify the quantity and condition of merchandise and packages before accepting or distributing them.
- Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports and investigate or report discrepancies.
- Sort, label and stage merchandise by department and deliver items to the appropriate locations.
- Record received inventory accurately and complete required reports, logs and system entries.

Secure the receiving room and protect merchandise, packages and documentation from loss or unauthorized access.
Must Have
- Valid Aruba work permit or Dutch passport.
- Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, stockroom or logistics experience.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to quantities, documents and product condition.
- Ability to reconcile invoices, receiving reports and inventory records accurately.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory or receiving systems.
- Ability to lift, carry, push and move packages, freight and supplies safely.
- Professional English sufficient to read invoices, labels and safety instructions and communicate with suppliers and departments.

Availability for the assigned schedule, including early mornings, weekends or holidays when required.
Nice to have
- Previous hotel, resort or hospitality receiving experience.
- Experience using inventory systems, barcode scanners or purchasing software.
- Experience working with purchase orders, delivery notes and shipping documentation.
- Training or certification for pallet jacks, forklifts or hazardous-material handling.
