Casino Soft Count Clerk

Soft Count Clerks accurately count, verify and record cash, vouchers and other transactions in a controlled and secure environment. This position is suited to someone who works carefully, follows procedures and can be trusted with confidential financial information.
You will be employed by Sicon Revan and assigned to one of our client properties in Aruba. Sicon Revan manages your employment contract, payroll, confirmed benefits and placement support. The client’s name and complete assignment details will be shared with suitable candidates during the selection process.
Responsibilities
- Count, verify and record cash, vouchers and other transaction documents accurately.

Reconcile counted amounts with reports and identify any differences.

Operate cash-counting equipment and enter results into the required systems.
- Prepare funds and documentation for secure transfer or deposit.
- Follow all cash-handling, security, confidentiality and internal-control procedures.
Must Haves
- Valid Aruba work permit or Dutch passport.
- Previous cash-handling, cashiering, cash-office or financial-processing experience.
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of honesty, discretion and respect for confidential information.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Nice to have
- Previous casino, banking, accounting, auditing or cash-counting experience.
- Experience using currency counters, calculators or cash-management systems.
- Knowledge of reconciliation and internal-control procedures.
- Papiamento, Spanish or Dutch.
