Stewards keep a hotel kitchen clean, safe and ready for service. This is active, fast-paced work for someone who follows hygiene procedures, notices what needs to be done and supports the kitchen team without waiting to be asked.
You will be employed by Sicon Revan and assigned to one of our client properties in Aruba. Sicon Revan manages your employment contract, payroll, confirmed benefits, onboarding and placement support. The client’s name and complete assignment details will be shared with suitable candidates during the selection process.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keep kitchen floors, work areas and storage areas clean and safe.
- Follow food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures.
- Operate the commercial dish machine safely and report faults promptly.
- Set up, move and store banquet or outlet equipment.
Must Have
-
Valid Work Permit for Aruba
- Availability for rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for a full shift, lift heavy items and work in a hot and wet environment.
- A dependable attitude, good attendance and willingness to support the team
- Basic English sufficient to understand instructions and safety procedures.
Nice to have
- Stewarding, dishwashing or other back-of-house experience.
- Experience using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Food-handling, hygiene or workplace-safety training.
- Papiamento, Spanish or Dutch.
