Beach Attendant

Beach Attendants prepare and maintain beachfront areas so guests can enjoy a safe, comfortable and welcoming experience. This is a labor-intensive outdoor position that requires repeatedly moving beach furniture and equipment, walking on sand and remaining active throughout the shift.
You will be employed by Sicon Revan and assigned to one of our client properties in Aruba. Sicon Revan manages your employment contract, payroll, confirmed benefits and placement support. The client’s name and complete assignment details will be shared with suitable candidates during the selection process.
Responsibilities
- Set up, arrange and remove loungers, chairs, umbrellas, cabanas and other beach equipment.
- Transport beach furniture, equipment and supplies between guest areas and storage locations.
- Position and secure umbrellas and other equipment according to weather and safety procedures.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating and equipment and respond to basic questions or requests.
- Keep the beach, pathways, service areas and storage spaces clean and organized.
- Inspect beach furniture and equipment and report damage, hazards or missing items promptly.

Collect and secure equipment and prepare the assigned area at the beginning and end of each shift.
Must Have
- Valid Aruba work permit or Dutch passport.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work throughout a full shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push and pull beach furniture, umbrellas, equipment and supplies safely.
- Ability to stand, walk on sand, bend and remain active for extended periods.
- Comfort working outdoors in heat, direct sun, wind and changing weather conditions.
- Availability for rotating shifts, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Conversational English sufficient to assist guests and understand instructions.
Nice to have
- Previous beach, pool, resort, landscaping, warehouse or general-labor experience.
- Experience handling outdoor furniture, umbrellas or recreational equipment.
- Customer-service experience.
- Papiamento, Spanish or Dutch.
