Food Runners connect the kitchen and service teams by delivering food quickly, accurately and professionally. This is fast-paced work for someone who moves with purpose, communicates clearly and pays attention to presentation and table numbers. Restaurant and buffet assignments may be available.
You will be employed by Sicon Revan and assigned to one of our client properties in Aruba. Sicon Revan manages your employment contract, payroll, confirmed benefits, onboarding and placement support. The client’s name and complete assignment details will be shared with suitable candidates during the selection process.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen or buffet to the correct guest or service area.
- Check table numbers, orders and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate delays, missing items and guest requests to the service team.
- Restock buffet or service items and keep runner stations organized.
- Follow food-safety, hygiene and guest-service procedures.
Must Have
- Valid work permit for Aruba.
- Availability for rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for a full shift and carry trays or service items safely.
- Basic English sufficient to understand orders and communicate with the team.
- A dependable attitude, quick pace and strong attention to accuracy.
Nice to have
- Previous food-runner, buffet, restaurant or banquet experience
- Food-handling or hygiene training.
- Experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Papiamento, Spanish or Dutch.
